I am Sonya and I have been working at the Pets and Vets, South Hedland Veterinary Hospital as a vet nurse for just over five years. I started out as a junior nurse and got promoted to head nurse just over three years ago. My favourite part of the job is when I get to be a surgical scrub nurse for the day as I have a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. When I am not at work I enjoy being outside camping and exploring the Pilbara with my partner and our dog, Spike.
